Meet the Goffe Chiropractic Center Team of Dayton, OH

Lisa

Chiropractic Assistant and Team Leader, Lisa

Lisa is our Team Leader. She has a wonderful personality and manner which makes it evident to all that one of her highest priorities is making your experience in our office truly exceptional!

“My right hand was almost completely numb and I had excruciating pain radiating from my neck down my right arm,” Lisa recalls.  “I felt there was no hope and that I’d just have to deal with the pain.  Then my friend told me about Dr. Goffe.  Within weeks of my first visit the pain had decreased considerably and I could move my head back and forth.  Two and a half years after my first visit, I joined Dr. Goffe’s team.  It’s a thrill being part of patient’s life-changing experiences.

“When I’m not at the office, my most favorite pastime is spending time with my husband, and my two children.  I also get a kick out of playing with my two dogs, reading mysteries, shopping, taking walks with my daughter and eating chocolate.”

Sandy

Chiropractic Assistant, Sandy

Sandy loves helping and being with patients. She is very versatile in the office. You might see her assisting with patients, answering the phone or helping someone with an account question.

“In July 2004 a friend told me about a job opening at Goffe Chiropractic Center. Even though I had never felt a need to go to a chiropractor, I thought the position sounded interesting and fit my medical background. Soon after I started working here, I explained to Dr. Goffe that I had severe headaches.  I was amazed at the immediate results (they stopped)…so amazed that I brought my son in who was suffering terribly with growing pains and a mystery fever.  With just one adjustment it all went away.  Now my husband and daughter are patients also.”

“After office hours, I’m currently attaining a Master’s Degree in Human Relations.  I also have a B.S. in Biology/Pre Med.  My hobbies and activities include karate, reading, sewing and decorating.  I also enjoy watching old movies.”

Debbie

Chiropractic Assistant, Debbie

Debbie is our receptionist.  Long-time patients in our Dayton office will know that we have been fortunate to have Debbie with us for many years.  Debbie's main desire in the office has always been to assist patients be healthier and pain-free.

“I had tried everything…had different tests done… but the medical doctors told me I was fine, and there wasn’t any reason for the severe headaches I was suffering.  I had to know why I had them though, and I started searching via the internet for a chiropractic doctor.   Dr. Goffe was the closest to my home, so I called and scheduled an appointment.  The results weren’t immediate, but the headaches have subsided and my life is more productive as a result of his care.”

“Several years later, in August of 2001, my daughter and I were in for an adjustment.  As we were checking out, my daughter said that I should get a job here.  The office manager at the time overheard the conversation and it wasn’t long before she gave me a call about an opening, and I started working part-time.”

“When I’m not at the office or taking care of my husband, son or daughter, I enjoy gardening, a variety of crafts, listening to music – my favorite is country and classic rock.”

Katie

Chiropractic Assistant, Katie

I first learned about Dr. Goffe’s office from a family friend several years ago.  I had been having a lot of headaches since a tree branch fell on my head and my friend referred me to Dr. Goffe.  After beginning treatment, he discovered other ways that he could help me, including resolving some of my digestion problems.  I have been a patient at Goffe Chiropractic Center here in Dayton for over three years and have found a variety of ways to help me stay healthy.

When a position became available at Goffe Chiropractic Center I jumped at the chance.  I noticed the fun atmosphere in the office.  Most importantly, I noticed Dr. Goffe’s team is concerned with the complete wellness of the patients.

When I am not working, I like to spend time with my family, friends, and boyfriend.  I also am currently working to obtain a Bachelor’s degree from Nyack College in Organizational Management.  I enjoy cooking, scrap-booking and singing.  I am very involved in my church with the praise team and the youth ministries.

Dr. Greg Goffe Asks some important questions of interest to Dayton residents - Chiropractor Dayton Dr. Greg Goffe Asks...

Do chiropractors prescribe medications for the pain?
No. Chiropractic is a drug-free approach to better health. Instead, we rely on natural methods. We can show you how to use ice to control pain. When properly applied, ice can have an analgesic effect without the unwanted and sometimes dangerous effects of pain medications.
What does a chiropractic adjustment do?
Chiropractic adjustments give your spine a little "nudge" at the right place, right time and the right direction so your body can use that energy to "right" itself. With a schedule of consistent chiropractic visits, a new, healthier spinal pattern emerges.
