Your First Visit to Our Dayton Practice

Subluxation Station Examination.

The moment you enter Goffe Chiropractic Center, you will be greeted by a warm, friendly environment.  One of our staff members will ask for information that is needed for your file (i.e.:  driver’s license, insurance information).  You will be given a New Patient folder and we will review the paperwork with you.  After the necessary paperwork is completed, we’ll even show you around the office so that you will feel right at home.

The next stop is the consultation room.  We will provide you with some information about how and why we do things, and then Dr. Goffe will meet with you.  He will want to know about your current health issues and what we can do to help you.  He will ask you some questions, and he will want to answer any questions that you have.

Dr. Goffe will then guide you to the examination room, and perform a thorough examination to determine the precise care needed.  The examination will consist of several assessments to show Dr. Goffe where you have disturbances in your nervous system or other problems.  We use state of the art technology to accurately assess your problems.  The tests are painless.

If X-rays are needed, the X-ray Technician will escort you to the x-ray room.  Several images may be taken at this time.  X-rays are used to reveal the structure and alignment of the spine and confirm other examination findings.  Once the x-rays have been taken, you will return to the examination room.

After a short wait, Dr. Goffe will return and answer any other questions you may have.  Sometimes care can begin right away.  However, if your test results require Dr. Goffe to perform a more detailed analysis or coordinate information from several different tests, we will most likely schedule you for a second visit to review the findings in detail with the doctor.  The front desk will assist you in scheduling a time for your second visit…usually the next day!

Dr. Greg Goffe Asks some important questions of interest to Dayton residents - Chiropractor Dayton Dr. Greg Goffe Asks...

Do chiropractors prescribe medications for the pain?
No. Chiropractic is a drug-free approach to better health. Instead, we rely on natural methods. We can show you how to use ice to control pain. When properly applied, ice can have an analgesic effect without the unwanted and sometimes dangerous effects of pain medications.
What does a chiropractic adjustment do?
Chiropractic adjustments give your spine a little "nudge" at the right place, right time and the right direction so your body can use that energy to "right" itself. With a schedule of consistent chiropractic visits, a new, healthier spinal pattern emerges.
